Ingredients

  • 4 duck legs

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 tablespoon Chinese five-spice powder

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 8-10 small flour tortillas

  • 1 cup shredded carrots

  • 1 cup shredded cucumber

  • 1/4 cup sliced scallions

  • Hoisin sauce

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Season the duck breasts with salt, pepper, and Chinese five-spice powder.

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the duck breasts, skin side down, until crispy, about 5 minutes. Flip the duck breasts and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  4. Transfer the duck breasts to a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.

  5. Remove the duck breasts from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before slicing them thinly.

  6. To assemble the wraps, place a tortilla on a plate, add some shredded carrots, cucumber, and sliced duck breast on top. Drizzle hoisin sauce over the filling, and sprinkle with sliced scallions.

  7. Roll up the tortilla tightly and serve immediately.
