About the Recipe
Tandoori lamb chops are a popular Indian dish made with marinated lamb chops that are grilled or baked until tender and juicy. The lamb chops are typically marinated in a mixture of yogurt and a blend of aromatic spices, including ginger, garlic, garam masala, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cayenne pepper, salt, and lemon juice. The marinade infuses the meat with a rich, savory flavor and helps to tenderize the lamb chops.
Traditionally, tandoori lamb chops are cooked in a tandoor oven, which is a clay oven used in Indian cooking. However, you can easily make them at home using a grill or oven. The result is a delicious and flavorful dish that is perfect for a special occasion or a weeknight dinner. Tandoori lamb chops are often served with a side of naan bread, basmati rice, and chutney.
